2017 Bridewear trends

2017’s Bridalwear Trends

Here at Teokath of London we love nothing more than making sure that our brides look beautiful on their big day. With wedding dress stores throughout the area, we are able to bring the dream of that perfect dress to women who want to look their best.

We also like to make sure that we are up to date with all the latest trends and style that are going to be popular in bridalwear.

With this in mind, we have put together some of the hottest bridalwear styles that are going to be popping up in 2017. All to give you the inspiration to go and find your ultimate wedding dress.

Think about the back

As you walk down the aisle, everyone will be looking at the front of your dress, but for a large chunk of the ceremony they will only be able to see the back. This is why more and more brides are opting for intricately detailed or statement design backs to their dresses. You could go for some beading, lacework or sparkles. Or how about showing off your back and going for a backless style?

3D flower embellishments

Whilst some brides like the idea of a plain and simple dress for their big day, others like to go bold on their embellishments. A popular one for 2017 are 3D flowers. Intricate and beautifully boho, they add a real feminine touch to your dress that will have everyone looking at you!

Bows

You don’t have to be a huge girlie girl to love a good bow. So, we think it is great news to hear that bows are making a huge comeback during 2017. Some designers have decided to go big and bold with their bows, making them a focal point of the dress, while others are going for smaller, neater bows to add a delicate touch to a dress that isn’t too in your face.

Floral

We love a good floral pattern, and the idea that these can now be incorporated into wedding dresses makes us very happy. Floral prints are perfect for Spring or Summer weddings and they allow brides to step away from the more standard print free wedding dress styles and wear something that is going to really capture attention. Best of all, a floral wedding dress won’t really need a bouquet, which means that you could go for something a little bit different to carry down the aisle.

Capes

Not just reserved for superheroes, capes can make a stylish and eye catching addition to a bridal outfit too. They come in a variety of lengths and fabrics, and are ideal if you want to create a dramatic look, particular for autumn or winter weddings. We also love the idea of styling some of your photos around the cape and just how beautiful it looks.

So, there you have it, just some of the latest trends that are popping out for dresses this year. No matter what you are looking for in a wedding dress, here at Teokath of London, we are sure to have the perfect one for you!
